Files with the .AUZ extension contain a license authorization key for the Ableton Live software.

Using AUZ files, you can register on devices that do not have access to the internet. In order to do this, you need to generate a firmware code on the device where there is no network access and the software is installed, and then, using another computer with an Internet connection and with the program page open, generate an AUZ file based on the previously created firmware code. The Ableton Live software is used to produce sounds, usually later used to create electronic mixes. Authorization of a legal copy of the software is possible by double-clicking on the AUZ file generated for a given computer.
