BMF is a graphics file format used for storing cliparts or photos. BMF format was used by older versions of Corel software products and was later substituted for more popular BMP format.

BMF files use lossless compression algorithm for storing data, yet, although seen as an important advantage at that time, the format didn’t gain much popularity among users and is currently considered a legacy format.
