Files with the .CLD extension contain label and CD-cover printing templates, namely pre-defined information about printing spaces, which serve as a basis for creating graphical projects for use as CD/DVD driver covers.

The CLD file format was created by Canon for use in printer software. The CD-LabelPrint software that allows for the creation and editing of these files is, in fact, included in the box with some of Canon’s Pixma printers.
