CTP files are template files used by CakePHP web app programming platform actively developed since 2005. CTP files a multiplatform and are written in PHP programming language. CakePHP is modeled after Ruby on Rails framework.
CTP file is a bridge between programming langauage and what the end-user sees. CTP files are divided into classes: views, elements, layouts, and helpers. Each class has its own file located in app’s folder.
