DFF file format is used by various CAD applications and computer games for storing 3D models data. DFF files are used by RenderWare engine for rendering 3D computer graphics.

DFF is a binary file with defiend hierarchical structure and divided into sections that describe model’s geometry, materials, behavior, etc. RenderWare rendering engine was utilized by more than 30 computer games, including GTA3.
