DICT is an extension given to files by a software called InterWrite. DICT are files used by this program to store dictionaries. Using such files, the program can change the language version in mobile devices with Windows Mobile installed. In order to be able to take advantage of this possibility, one had to download InterWrite and install it in the system.

InterWrite is a program developed by Sunnysoft. Currently, the DICT format is rare and considered obsolete.
