File with a .DRMZ extension contains a document in PDF proprietary encrypted format possible to read on different devices, also Apple and Android. It utilises the DRM standard which enables inserting limitations for copying, printing, creating watermarks or number of possible openings or expiry date.

Files are created in the Drumlin PDF publisher software and read in Drumlin PDF reader or Javelin PDF Reader. PDF documents packed into DRMZ or DRMX may contain different type of data – books, rapports, lists, graphics, there are no restrictions in this matter. The format is used for secure sending, for instance within a network, with no possibility to open without proper authorisation code.
