FH8 is the file extension used to store graphics in a vector format. Most often, FH8 files are associated with a graphics program called Adobe FreeHand 8. These are static images, the most common use of which is publication on websites.

FreeHand is a tool developed by Micromedia and then acquired by Adobe. Currently, this program is no longer supported. The FH8 format is now rare and considered obsolete.
