Files with the .FW extension contain firmware update data – it can be firmware for all types of devices, e.g. digital cameras, cameras, audio-video players.

In order to update devices, FW files can be transferred to them by means of mass storage units - namely cards and pen drives - or using a direct connection via a USB cable to a computer. In order to install them correctly, follow the device manual or the instructions contained in the file.
