File with a .MEGA extension contains information on video string which is a TV channel – its name, description, URL link address. It enables storing predefined IPTV channel settings.

MEGA files are utilised by Portuguese software for IPTV streaming – Megacubo. Many files with the MEGA configuration are provided with software installation, others can be downloaded from adequate web sites, as channel packages in .MPC files.
