File with .MOT extension contains information about key frames of animation saved in plain text format. MOT files are used by LightWave software, a professional application for creating graphics and 3D animations.

MOT file stores animations coordinates. User can view them using any standard text file editor. Unlike ENV files, which describe only single channel of data, this format describes 9 channels of the object data. This format is also used in Point Oven software.
