File with a .MPF extension contains a compressed package of WMF files, clip art images and a set of keywords. It is a multimedia file used by the Microsoft Clip Organizer (since the 2002 version).

The Microsoft Clip Organiser software was originally operating on the CIL files. It manages objects which can be downloaded for Microsoft Office from the Microsoft Office Online Clip website.
