NCW is an extension given to files by the Nero Cover Designer program for creating covers and labels for CDs and DVDs. The NCW files contain templates for cover or brochure designs.

NCW files allow for faster project execution. They contain pre-formatted elements on the basis of which the project is created. Ready NCW templates are available in the program, but they can also be created by the user. They can be used to create a variety of documents, but with a similar structure.
