PBO is an extension given to files that the Czech company Bohemia Interactive Studio uses in its products. Most often, these files are associated with the game Operation Flashpoint. A PBO is a file that is used to store all the data related to one mission in the game. It contains data of all files that make up such a mission. Most often this is the entire mission folder.

Campaigns or game add-ons were also stored in PBO files. Currently, this format is rarely used and is considered obsolete.
