File with a .PKM extension contains a stored Nintendo DS Pokémon game, including unique characters’ data. Such files are stored on a game cartridge.

There is a possibility to edit a game state saved in a PKM file via the Pokesav tool for WIndows. PKM files are characteristic to the Pokémon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum game series.
