REDIR is a file format used by Swedish music streaming application Spotify. REDIR files are supported by Microsoft Windows with added EXE suffix for executable files.
Spotify is one of the largest music content platform and offers two service subscription types: free (with ads) and paid (on monthly basis). Spotify debuted in 2006 and since then it has used REDIR file format for music delivery.
