RP file stores prototype project created with Axure RP application. Axure RP is a development tool for creating preliminary projects of user interfaces, data flow diagrams, or software documentation designs. RP file stores projects in interactive form, which react on such action as mouse movements, mouse clicks, or finger gestures.

RP files can be exported into HTML or other formats supported by Microsoft Word software.
