RUL is a developer file written in C-like programming language InstallSript. RUL files stoere source code used during installation process performed with InstallShield. RUL files allow implementing custom installation functionalities.
Most RUL files are named using word ‘Setup’ and given a number index if more than one files are present. RUL files can be edited using any text editor. InstallScript is a proprietary language owned by Flexera Software.
