Files with the .SES extension contain data of an audio project - references to songs and the mixing settings of each of them.
The SES format was originally developed for Syntrillium Software's Cool Edit Pro audio editing software, which was acquired by Adobe in 2003, with the first version of Adobe Audition being released in the same year. This program supported SES files up to Adobe Audition version CS5.5, after which the XML-based SESX project format was introduced. However, you can easily convert SES files to SESX with the help of the Ses2Sesx tool.
