File with a .SESX extension contains a sound project that can encompass many tracks, stored in a format based on XML. It does not encompass any sound files directly, but their references. This format is used to store sessions created in Adobe Audition sound creation software, and it has substituted the previous binary format – SES.

Adobe Software is a payed software that enables to work on a range of sound formats: ACC, AIF, FLAC, MP3, OMF, WAV – within the program, they can be mixed and their parameters can be edited. There is also a free, trial version that enables opening the SESX files.
