SFM is a audio file format associated with noise reduction software Dart Pro 98. The program allowed users to convert tape recordings to CD-quality audio files.

SFM format was developed by DARTECH and released in January 1999. Dart Pro 98 application was available for Microsoft Windows 95/98/NT platform. License for the software can be purchased on developer’s website.
