SIP files were used on very old IBM computers. SIP files are associated with ScopeTraX, available for Microsoft MS-DOS systems, and store audio samples in compressed form.
SIP files store 8-bit audio samples. The format is rarely used today. It is unknown whether SIP files can be converted to other formats.
