SPH files are files that are used by the molecular modeling software called Ribbons. Such files contain data on the outer surface of the sphere (sphere). They are not essential to the Ribbons modeling process, but are strongly recommended. They contain 5 mandatory fields and may optionally contain a further 6.
Currently, the SPH format is rarely used and is considered obsolete.
