File with a .SPV extension contains data such as sets, reports, charts and visualisations generated with the statistical analysis software SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences).

SPV files have replaced the older SPO file format, from the SPSS 16 software version, and does not support backward compatibility. They can be opened only with version 16 software and later.
