SSIF is file format for stereoscopic video images. SSIF are typically found on Blu-ray discs. SSIF files combine two separate BDAV MPEG-2 video stream to produce a 3D image.

In order to play SSIF files an appropriate equipment is need, typically a Blu-ray 3D player (decoder). Such device can play both MPEG-4 MVC streams for left and right eye respectively to generate an illusion of image depth.
