File with a .SXC extension contains a spreadsheet supporting formulas, functions, macros and charts, as well as the DataPilot charts which can automatically individualise and provide summaries of raw imported data.

SXC files are created in Calc software of the StarOffice suite. They are compatible also with other office suites, for instance the Apache OpenOffice, previously known as OpenOffice.Org. They can be also exported into a more universal format of the Microsoft Office - Excel or IBM Lotus 1-2-3.
