SXI is a presentation file format native to Impress, an application included in StarOffice software package. SXI are not used anymore and have been replaced by other presentation formats. Still, SXI fiels can be viewed and edited using OpenOffice or LibreOffice tools.

SXI documents were used for storing user-created presentations comprised of slides, similar to PowerPoint presentations. Single slide can contain text, images, or multimedia elements. Users may choose background color, font type, a location of each element of given slide.
