THRASHES is a hidden file found on Android mobile devices (smartphones, tablets, etc.). TRASHES files store information about files that are to be removed form the storage device.

TRASHES files may also be found on Mac OS desktop systems and perform the exact same function as their mobile counterparts. THRASHES files can be safely removed form the system if disk storage spaced needs to be reclaimed.
