Files with the .TSV extension contain data arranged in a table, the columns of which are separated by tab characters, saved in text form. It is similar to the CSV format, where columns are separated by commas instead of tabs.

TSV files are used to transfer data between different programs. They can be easily read - even using a simple text editor or Microsoft Word. You can import a TSV file using virtually any spreadsheet program - as well as export an existing table to this format.
