UI file store configuration for QT software development environments saved in XML format. UI file contain widget data trees for given project. UI files can be processed during project compilation as C++ code imported into a previously compiled program. In the latter case widget tree is generated dynamically.

UI files store data in XML format and can be edited using any text editor. However, only QT environment can process data included in UI files.
