File with a .WIZ extension contains elements of a user’s panel layout, different types of macros (coded in order to prevent from being modified) and templates packed in the creator’s file. WIZ wizards are used by Microsoft software and can be created, for instance, in Microsoft Word.

Word enables creating templates with a set of macros and storing it as a DOT file. If the extension is changed into WIZ, we will be provided with a wizard that can be a Microsoft program add-on, and will take user through a given task. There is also an option to edit a built-in WIZ file by modifying code of its macro.
