File with .CUE extension contains data in text format that define how tracks are organized on disc – track titles and authors, length of each track and album information. Can also contain references to other files.

CUE files are designed to support standard CD and Super Audio CD (SACD) formats. Most CD players and CD editing software are capable of reading metadata stored in CUE files.
