DVF files are used by voice recorders manufactured by form Sony. It is a compressed audio format that stores material recorded by the device. This format is proprietary and only supported by a tool developed by Sony.

DVF files can be converted to WAV format using the Digital Voice Editor software tool that came with voice recorders. Other media players may have supported DVF files using the Sony Player plug-in.
