GT file extension is used by various embroidery data files. GT format is used by Gold Thread embroidery machines to store and process instructions for the machine. GT file contains a 512-byte long header section followed by instruction code for given pattern.

GT format was supported by various embroidery design software tools. Gt format is now considered obsolete.
