HPG is a vector graphics file format used for document plotting. HPG files store data written HP-GL language developed by Hewlett-Packard. The format was originally supported only on HP devices, but it became the standard format used by most plotters.

HPG document file consist of two-letter codes that after processing allow the device to print the document. HP-GL interpreter is also used by some HP laser printers.
