HTMLZ file is an archive file that contains multiple files comprising a website, such as HTML files, image files, CSS code, etc. It can also contain OPF metadata file.

HTMLZ is an ZIP archive. Archives are used for storing many files in single file container. HTMLZ archives are commonly used as HTML e-book packages. E-book readers can open HTMLZ archives without the need of unpacking them.
