File with .IQY extension contains information such as URL and connection parameters, required for performing queries to ASP web page in order to retrieve data and import it into Microsoft Excel file.

IQY files are stored by default in ‘Queries’ subfolder in Microsoft Office directory. They can be used to retrieve data from Goggle Analysis. IQY files are also called ‘web query files’ or ‘connection files’.
