OFR is a file format that stores digital audio material. It is audio material that has been losslessly compressed. It is a proprietary format for a tool called OptimFROG. OptimFrog is also a lossless audio codec that is used to generate OFR files. Sound encoded in this way can occupy less space on the storage medium while maintaining the same quality.
