PPL is a file extension that is used to store programming libraries used by the Pascal compiler called Free Pascal. PPL are files that are a type of dynamic libraries. These files are created by a tool called ppumove which is the equivalent of tpumove included with Turbo Pascal.
Using programming libraries containing ready-made subroutines or functions in many cases makes it very easy to create programs. PPL are dynamic libraries attached to the program at the time of its launch.
