PTFs are files associated with the Pro Tools extensive audio editor, versions 7 through 9. Previous versions of this tool used the PTS extension. PTF files are used to store the settings of a project executed in Pro Tools. It is a session file that contains information about the location of the audio material used in the project and the sound effects.
