QVM is a data file format used by Quake 3 computer game. Data in QVM files is loaded by Quake 3 virtual machine, decoded and used during gameplay. A single Quake 3 installation can contain multiple QVM files. Each file is responsible for different type of assets used by the game.

Quake 3: Arena is a computer game released in 1999 for PC. It was hailed by many as one of the best computer games ever released. QVM can still be found on computers with this cult game installed.
