SFK is a filename extension developed for Sony for audio and video files. SFK files store audio waveform images and are generated automatically upon importing of audio files into the program.

SFK files are supported by all video and audio editing tools in Sony’s portfolio, including Vegas and Sound Forge Pro software series. Each time an edited audio source file is changed, a new SFK files must be generated manually using a function available from the program’s menu.
