WQ2 is an extension characteristic of the older software running under the MS-DOS operating system called Quattro Pro. It is a spreadsheet creation tool that saves its documents in WQ2 files. The structure of such files is specific to this type of data. A file is made up of cells formed by its division into columns and rows. Most often, numerical values were entered into such a file, on the basis of which all kinds of calculations and statements were made.

Quattro Pro is a tool developed by Borland and is no longer available today.
