File with a CAL extension contains information on a correction of a value of positioning of the so-called biped – a two-legged character created in the Adjust Talent Pose mode. They are utilised in order to add information about a pose into the structure of a character stored in a FIG file.
CAL files are created in the 3ds Max software used for 3D modelling and animation. Biped characters stored in FIG files along with CAL files can be for instance of a human.
