What is a LCX file?
LCX is a document file saved in ASCII plain text format. LCX files store information about 3D object models. LCX is an unsophisticated format and is considered obsolete by today’s standards.
LCX files can be opened in a web browser given that an appropriate Java script is installed. LCX files were used primarily for storing character models used in computer games, including animations and movements.

Is there one way to open unknown files?
