What is a PK file?
Files with PK extension as mainly used by Syntrillum Cool Edit audio editing tool. In 2003 Abode acquired the project and rebranded it as Audition. PK file contains waveform image data for audio files opened with the program.

Is there one way to open unknown files?
Many files contain only simple text data. It is possible that while opening unknown files (e.g. PK) with a simple text editor like Windows Notepad will allow us to see some of the data encoded in the file.
