ASK is a database file used by askSam software, a personal information management (PIM) tool. The software was developed in early 1980s for DOS and later for Windows.
ASK database contains various user information, such as contacts, email adresses, websites, text files, and spreadsheets. This type of database is usually used by business clients. The askSAm tool was competing with its counterpart Lotus Organizer.
