File with a .CMF extension contains source code of the ColdFusion programming language or the markers language – ColdFusion Markup Language, which creates a web site generated dynamically by the server if it is being referred to by a user. ColdFusion was developed by Allaire, than the patent was bought by the Macromedia company, and after its takeover in the year 2005, the standard is being maintained by Adobe Systems.
