FLO is a project file created by Micrografx FlowCharter 7 application. Newer versions fo this application, called iGrafx, offered support for FLO files. FLO file contain block diagrams that follow BPMN, LVSM, UM, and Swimline standards.

FlowCharter was one of the precursors to flowchart tools. The application was released in the 1980s. FLO files are chiefly used in business environments and organizations that focus on data analysis.
