HCP file format is used for storing projects created using HydroCAD, a computer-aided design (CAD) software used mostly in civil engineering for modeling stormwater runoff.

HCP is a text file and it doesn’t store any project data, but describes its structure. HCP file must be used along with other file that comprise given HydroCAD project.
